Female Fawn Boxer | Tango 💃🏻

Ladies and gentlemen, and esteemed squirrels that Tango has vowed to one day catch, gather around as I spin the yarn of the most serene guardian to ever grace the canine world.

Introducing the one, the only, Tango—whose name hums with the rhythm of Rodrigo Amarante’s melodies and whose spirit dances with a zest that can only be described as ‘pawsitively’ infectious.

Listen to the song here:

Tango, the gold fawn Boxer, with a coat that shimmers like twilight’s last gleaming, doesn’t just walk. Oh no, she sashays, each step a beat in an unseen dance, her magnificent body shape a testimony to the elegance of motion. She’s calm, and radiating tranquility like a fluffy Buddha with a snout.

As a guard, Tango’s bark is not just a bark—it’s a warning siren dipped in honey, smooth but with a resounding “ruff” that tickles your ears and tells you, “Fear not, for I have sniffed the winds and patrolled the perimeters of this fortress you call ‘home’.” Intruders beware: Coyotes, deer’s and squirrels, she only barks when threatened, and when Tango barks, the trees bark back in solidarity.

Tango at our paradise

Her signature move for garnering attention is what we fondly call the “Paw Plonk.” Picture this: You’re sitting there, lost in thought, and suddenly a pair of velvety paws descends upon your arm with the gentle force of falling leaves. It’s Tango’s delicate way of saying, “Excuse me, human, you seem to have forgotten my existence. Allow me to remind you with my touch.”

But, ah, the licks! Tango dispenses her kisses like a royal bestowing honors upon her subjects. To be licked by Tango is to be anointed with love, to be blessed by a tongue that has tasted the secrets of the universe (and probably a few questionable choices from the trash can, but we don’t judge).

Tango as a puppy!

In the quiet moments, Tango is nothing short of a sculptor’s dream, her silhouette a marvel of canine architecture. She lounges with a poise that would make the feline kingdom green with envy, every curve and contour of her body a celebration of Boxer beauty.

Named after a music piece that’s as melodious as the rhythms of South America, Tango embodies her namesake’s passion and flair. She doesn’t just live; she performs, her every yawn, stretch, and playful pounce a movement in a larger symphony of her day-to-day opus.

Whether she’s standing sentinel by the window, her gaze fixed on the horizon like a furry knight ready to charge, or she’s curled up by your feet, her snores a soft accompaniment to the evening’s quiet, Tango is more than a pet—she’s a presence, a melody in four paws, a dance of delight wrapped in fur.

So let’s raise a chew toy in honor of Tango, the Boxer who prances like she’s got the music in her genes, who guards like a gentle warrior, and loves like the most ardent of poets. Here’s to the girl who can turn a simple living room into a ballroom with nothing but her charm, a spot of drool, and that ever-wagging tail. May her days be long, her naps be peaceful, and her dance card forever full.

Tango is the daughter of Coração and Luna.
