Meet Montana: The New Jersey Boxer That Thinks She Runs the House
Every Boxer has a personality.
Montana? She has a whole government system.
Montana Girl came all the way from New Jersey with her beautiful European Boxer looks, endless energy, and an attitude that basically says:
“Nice to meet you… this is my house now.”
From the moment she joined the pack, we knew she was different. Not bad different. Just… boss-level different. Montana walks around like she pays the mortgage, supervises everyone’s business, and personally approves who gets toys, beds, or attention.
The problem?
The rest of the pack didn’t exactly vote for her leadership.
Cali, Miracle, and Tango quickly realized Montana was not interested in being “the new girl.” Nope. She wanted management. She’s fearless, stubborn, and absolutely refuses to back down from anything. If another dog challenges her, Montana’s immediate response is basically:
“Oh, we’re doing this? Okay then.”
Of course, that has created a few dramatic moments around the house. One of the funniest was when Spice finally had enough during an argument over a toy and decided to remind Montana that there are levels to this game. Let’s just say Montana learned that being bossy comes with consequences.
For about five minutes.
Because right after that, she went back to walking around like security chief of the entire property.
The funny thing is that beneath all that Spicy personality, Montana is actually one of the sweetest dogs ever. She’s loving, affectionate, and full of goofy Boxer energy. She wants attention all the time, loves being involved in everything, and somehow manages to look both intimidating and adorable at the exact same time.
And if you compare her to Gecko, the difference is hilarious.
Gecko, our European male Boxer, lives life like a retired grandpa on vacation. His daily goals include:
- finding the softest couch,
- taking a nap,
- waking up for snacks,
- and then immediately taking another nap.
Meanwhile Montana wakes up every morning ready for action like she has three business meetings and a personal mission to supervise every living creature in the house.
She’s dramatic. She’s protective. She’s stubborn.
And honestly? We wouldn’t change a thing.
Montana Girl may still be adapting to the pack, but one thing is already clear: she’s impossible to ignore. Whether she’s starting drama over toys, zooming around the yard, or acting like the self-appointed CEO of the Boxer crew, she brings life and personality everywhere she goes.
And deep down, under all that “boss energy,” she’s just a sweet girl trying to find her place in the family… while secretly hoping that place is at the top.
